New features coming in June

Posted on Sunday 24 May 2009

May has been a busy month for us - we've been cracking on with development, plus talking to magazines and reviewers.

We're delighted that Photo Pro magazine will be featuring a review of Light Blue: Photo in its July edition, hitting newsstands in early June - do check it out.

Talking of early June, the beta version of Light Blue: Photo v1.2 is with our testers now. We've got some great new features, including:

  • Internationalisation - set your currency, date formats, paper size, field labels and PayPal currency to suit you
  • Improved iCal publishing - more information (such as the contact information, schedule and requests) is published to the event in iCal, and we've added a new 'auto-publish' option which publishes your changes instantly.
  • 'Do not rename' option for importing images - Light Blue: Photo now works more flexibly with workflows that involve renaming images in other programs.
  • Updated web gallery templates - now with the option to easily link back to your homepage.
  • New mail merge tags - add quote summary information to your mailing letters.

We'll be releasing Light Blue: Photo v1.2 on 4 June - check back then. In the meantime, why not download a copy of Light Blue: Photo v1.1 and check it out for yourself?
