Planned outage on 21 October 2026
We’re sharing this to let you know that our website and many of Light Blue’s online services will be offline for a short amount of time today.
The PHP programming language is used by a large percentage of websites, including our website and Light Blue’s online services.
A critical security patch for PHP is expected at 15:00 BST (14:00 UTC) today, 21 October 2026. One of our web hosts is going to be temporarily disabling sites that use PHP shortly before this time to ensure that they can safely apply this patch. Our website and many of Light Blue’s online services will be unavailable until the patch has been applied and access has been restored. Because PHP is used by so many websites, many other services that you use will also be affected by this issue.
The Light Blue apps for macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android will continue to work but features that interact with our servers (e.g. data sync, sending messages, and publishing things like contracts or proposals) will be unavailable until access has been restored.
We work hard behind the scenes to ensure that our services are available whenever you need them and downtime is very rare for us, but I’m sure you’ll agree that preserving the security of your data is our utmost priority.
As always, you can contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions.
