🎥 Publishing events to Google Calendar

You can publish your Light Blue events to Google Calendar, which allows you show them in a calendar app that supports Google Calendar, or to block availability in a third-party scheduling system.

Linking your Google account

This article shows you how to link a Google account to Light Blue.

Switching on Google Calendar publishing

After you’ve given Light Blue access to your Google Calendar account, you’ll be able to tick the “Publish to Google Calendar” checkbox. This will open a new window where you can choose whether you want to publish Light Blue’s events to a new calendar, or to an existing calendar. If you’re setting up Google Calendar publishing for the first time, you should use the “Create New Calendar” option because it’s important that only events from Light Blue appear in this calendar.

When you click the “Publish” button, Light Blue will start publishing all of your recent and future enquiries and bookings to your new “Light Blue” calendar in Google Calendar.

It’s important to note that Light Blue’s Google Calendar publishing feature is one-way only, so Light Blue remains the sole source for your information. Any changes that you make in Google Calendar won’t be pulled back into Light Blue.
