Importing from the Mac’s Contacts application
I’m going to show you how to import contacts from the Mac’s Contacts application. This is really useful when you’ve already got a load of client details in there and want to get them into Light Blue.
In this case, I’ve got a group here with a few contacts in it which I want to import.
To import them, I go to Light Blue, then the Records menu, then Import Contacts from Address Book. It asks me to choose the group from which I want to import the contacts, so I’ll do that, then confirms what it’s going to do, then finally imports them.
Note that if there are any contacts which are in the contacts app but which have already been imported, they’ll be skipped, so you don’t get duplicates.
